This heavy duty dome light is designed for utility use in boats, cars, trucks, and utility vehicles of all types. Made from strong ABS plastic with added UV-inhibitor (to protect the plastic from sun exposure), the lamp features a powerful array of super bright "Super Flux" 3528 LEDs, arranged in a circular pattern behind a fresnel lens. Designed as a Utility/Map light, this fixture contains 9 White LEDs and 6 Red LEDs. A 3-way rocker switch selects White-Off-Red. Perfect for use in vehicles or installations where Red Lighting is used to preserve night vision. Installation is easy: twist to remove the fresnel lens and install using the included hardware. Directly wire to your 12 Volt electrical system. A side mounted rocker switch operates the lamp. Unlike temporary puck lights, this lamp provides a very bright light source, well in excess of standard incandescent bulb dome lights (60 lumen White / 30 lumen Red).
